I cofounded the NANO Poker Club, the first online Poker site which accepts payments in the NANO cryptocurrency.
As the sole developer for this project, I had the pleasure of selecting my own technology stack and designing all facets of the software.
The actual Poker gameplay server is a commercial product known as Poker Mavens.
This software is a Windows Server application which conducts all Poker engine gameplay, thus abstracting away the core game development I otherwise would need to undertake. It exposes an API for managing user accounts and balances.
I built my React frontend around this Poker server API, so that users would have one cohesive login experience where they can manage funds and player rewards before entering the gameplay server.
I also designed a payment system for the NANO network to monitor all payments made to user accounts, and increment/decrement poker accounts as necessary.
My software and site were acquired in August 2018 by Allin.BET
